U18s Beaten at Cardiff Sunday, 8th Dec 2019 23:57 A young Town U18s side were beaten 3-0 at Cardiff City on Saturday morning in the first of two games between the sides in successive weeks. Ntazana Mayembe netted twice and Isaak Davies once for the home team at the at the Cardiff International Sports Stadium. Adem Atay’s side featured a number of U16s, including recent first-team debutant Tawanda Chirewa (pictured), who came on as a sub. Next Saturday the teams meet again at the Cardiff City Stadium in the third round of the FA Youth Cup (KO 3pm). The winners will face either AFC Bournemouth or Barnet away in the fourth round. Meanwhile, Town’s U23s are in action away against Millwall at The Den on Monday afternoon (KO 1pm). U18s: Bort, Stephenson, Clifford, Armin, Kabongolo, Alexander (Healy 72), Cutbush, Mesuria (Chirewa 65), Brown, Viral, Simpson (Bello 77).
